Pet Portraits

Order a custom portrait of your beloved pet!

Each piece is a one-of-a-kind drawing, created entirely by hand with professional-quality pencil crayons on premium art paper. The result is a soft, realistic, and vibrant portrait that captures your pet’s unique spirit and charm.

How It Works

Before I begin your portrait, you’ll send me reference photos of your furry friend (whether that’s your favourite photo or your favourite fifteen!) The more images I have, the better I can study your pet to capture their personality, energy, and little quirks that make them them.

Portraits take, on average, around 20 hours to complete (sometimes more for complex details). I balance each drawing with my regular work schedule, so please allow at least one week for completion, depending on current demand.

Paper Colours

You can choose between white, black, or tan paper, or request a custom background colour for an extra personal touch.

Each background creates a different effect depending on your pet’s colouring:

• White paper gives a bright, clean look. Perfect for darker-coated pets.

• Black paper adds dramatic contrast, making lighter fur and eyes pop.

• Tan paper offers warmth and balance. Ideal for white or golden pets.

• Custom colour (+$15): Your portrait will be drawn on white paper, then finished with a background colour of your choice. You can include a photo reference or describe the shade you’d like in your email and I’ll match it as closely as possible.

Sizes & Pricing

Small (5.5x8.5") One pet, head and chest $275 CAD

Regular (9x12") One pet, head and chest $350 CAD

Two or more pets drawn together on one page: Please inquire for quote

Each portrait includes a simple solid background. Add-on options such as name tags, collars, or small accessories are available upon request.

Protective Finish

Each drawing can be sealed with a professional fixative spray that helps preserve the colours and protect against smudging and wax bloom.

• Adds $5 per portrait

• Highly recommended for long-term display

Payment Options

A full payment is required before I begin your portrait. However, you can choose one of the following options:

1. Pay full upfront

2. Pay 50% of total, then the other 50% + shipping two weeks later

Payment methods accepted:

• E-transfer (Canada)

• PayPal (International)

• Invoice (for credit or payment plan option)

Shipping Information

• Canada-wide shipping: Flat rate $7

• USA shipping: Flat rate $12

• International shipping: Flat rate $15

  Each drawing is carefully packaged in a rigid mailer to prevent bending or damage during transit.

Turnaround Time

Each portrait is a detailed, hand-drawn piece that takes many hours to complete. My average turnaround time is 3–5 weeks depending on my current workload and waitlist.

Since I’m also balancing school and work, this timeline allows me to give each portrait the focus and care it deserves. If your portrait is finished sooner, I’ll let you know right away!

If you need your drawing by a specific date (such as for a gift), please reach out before ordering. I may be able to accommodate a rush order for an additional fee.

Photo Tips

For me to achieve the best possible result, please send:

1. Clear, high-resolution photos (avoid blurry images)

2. Natural lighting (outdoor light preferred. No filters or flash)

3. Close-up headshots showing your pet’s eyes, nose, and fur texture (shoulders/chest up)

The clearer your photos, the more lifelike your portrait will be. You can send multiple photos, and I’ll choose the one that works best for the composition.
